My Favorite Green Juice Recipe:

I have been addicted to this green juice recipe lately!  I’ve been starting my day with fresh green juice everyday and think it makes SUCH a difference for me. I usually try to start my day by drinking a green juice every morning on an empty stomach.

This recipe is a loose estimate of how much of everything I use, depending on what I have in the house. You can play around with the quantity but I love this combination of flavors.

This is the juicer I use.

• 4 bunches of organic celery hearts
• 2-3 carrots
• 2-3 green apple, (I love Granny Smith apples)
• 2-3 lemons
• 1 small (or medium) piece of ginger
•1-2 cucumbers

I have also juiced celery juice by itself, which is also jam packed with benefits, but I prefer something like this. You can also get creative with it. Try adding some leafy greens like kale or spinach.

Side note: I have tried some of the store-bought green juices but definitely notice a difference when juicing at home. Also, be mindful that there is naturally occurring sugars in fruit so while there are many benefits, they may not all be low cal or low sugar. Find what works for your or talk to a nutritionist to see if juicing is right for you.
